Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is a direct sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company and was announced at one of Electronic Arts' earnings conferences and was showcased for the first time at E3 2009. The game was released on March 2, 2010 in North America and March 5, 2010 in Europe, as announced at the EA press conference at Gamescom.
